My Mother´s home needed to be sold so the proceeds could pay for her care now that she could no longer stay in her own home. I interviewed four realtors including Legacy Realty suggested by my sister and niece. Even though I believed the initial listing price suggested by Legacy Realty was unrealistically high for the amount of work needed; Legacy Realty was selected over the other realtors because of the better array of marketing tools and transparency. Our monthly review of the reports detailing who visited or toured the house and the post tour feedback emails from the realtors pinpointed areas for improvement to increase the home´s appeal to prospective buyers. Richard was also in frequent contact with me concerning possible prospect status and contractors he trusted for improvements. After presenting a couple of offers with lukewarm support, Richard presented the buyer´s offer with which I had more reservations than he did. From that point on Richard projected the intent of not letting this negotiation stop until there was a sale.
